So it has finally happened, Andrea Radrizzani has completed the deal and now owns 100% of Leeds United.

This is fantastic news and things are already looking up for Leeds with the news of Radrizzani wanting to tie down Garry Monk to a long-term deal. Radrizzani is also looking to bring in his own staff having already brought in Ivan Bravo as a Director. Victor Orta, currently Middlesbrough’s chief scout, is being lined up to become Leeds’ new Technical Director and will work closely with Monk and his backroom staff. Angus Kinnear is another name who has been mentioned. The current West Ham and former Arsenal Managing Director has been linked with the Chief Executive position which Ben Mansford recently vacated.

It’s clear to see Radrizzani is strengthening at the top and we might finally see some stability. It’s also a very important summer in terms of the playing staff. Today we saw Ronaldo Vieira sign a new four-year deal at the club, something Cellino never offered to our youngsters. The worrying thing about last year though is that we had a lot of loanee’s who have now returned to their parent clubs, such as the likes of Kyle Bartley and Hadi Sacko. Then there’s the Pontus Jansson saga which doesn’t look like it has ended just yet judging by his recent comments. Speaking about his future, Janssons said: “I’ve come home now and I’ve switched off from everything. I’ll meet with my agent Martin during the international break to talk about the future.”

This could be the biggest summer we’ve had in years at Leeds. With over 15,000 Season Ticket’s already sold it’s clear Radrizzani is the owner of a club on its way back, now it’s up to him to make that dream a reality.

United are back, roll on next season.
