Steve Evans has hinted at changes all week and I think that we’re likely to see a few. Leeds haven’t managed to make any signings before the game but I think we’re likely to see some for Huddersfield if not the Cardiff game, with a keeper being top priority.

Until we sign a keeper Marco Silvestri will continue in-goal, hopefully he plays well tonight on Sky and somebody takes him off our hands.

Fullbacks – Expect Gaetano Berardi and Sam Byram to continue until Charlie Taylor returns, then Evans will have a big decision. He seems to really rate Berardi but Byram is clearly a better option attacking wise, I like both players so it will be a difficult decision.

Centre-backs – Bamba has somehow managed to avoid being booked again which would make him suspended, meaning that Bamba and Cooper are likely to continue in the heart of the defence. They seem to be forming a good partnership, if you get rid of Silvestri’s errors then they’d actually have a much better record together.

Central midfielders – Tom Adeyemi seems to be a real favourite of Steve Evans and now that he does more than just sit in front of the defence I expect him to start tonight alongside Lewis Cook. Cook is our best player and he’s wasted out wide. Evans did mention in his press conference that Alex Mowatt has looked much better in training this week, like the player of last season, so don’t be too surprised if he starts. Casper Sloth is another to look out for, Evans said he’s been impressed by him and he may be another option on the bench tonight.

Wide players – Jordan Botaka has recovered from illness and after he was supposed to play against Bolton, I think he’ll start tonight. This should be the perfect game for him, Blackburn aren’t in form and we should see a lot of the ball. Stuart Dallas didn’t have his best game against Bolton but he was class against Fulham and he also does a lot for the team defensively so I think he’ll start tonight.

Strikers – Mirco Antenucci and Chris Wood have been told to fight over the penalties they receive by Steve Evans and at the moment it looks like they’re the only options as the only other striker we have is Doukara.

I actually think we’ll win tonight, if we can’t win this game I’m not sure when we will!
