Leeds United boss Garry Monk is in a buoyant mood ahead of Leeds’ last three Championship games and believes Leeds United WILL still make the Play-Off’s despite their recent stuttering form.

Ahead of the Whites away trip to Burton Albion Monk has been speaking in his usual pre-match press conference. Monk has confirmed that Ronaldo Vieira has returned to training after missing the previous outings against Newcastle and Wolves with tonsillitis. Monk also said that Marco Silvestri is the only player missing through injury while Liam Cooper is still suspended as we all know.

Monk was asked the question of how he would feel if Leeds did what we all thought was unthinkable a couple of games ago and missed out on the Play-Off’s. His response was very positive:

It’s clear that Monk and his squad still believe that they can finish in the Championship’s top six. After Burton, United host Norwich City at Elland Road before travelling to Wigan on the final day.

Leeds managed 7 points against the same 3 teams earlier on in the season and the same points total could well see Leeds earn a well deserved Play-Off spot.

Let us know your thoughts on Monk’s comments – will Leeds finish in the top 6 or have we blown our chances?
