The next two Leeds United games are vital and could make or break our season for me. We really need two victories and if we play like we know we can, I don’t see any reason why we can’t pick up six important points. Mustapha Carayol had a very decent debut against Rotherham, as did Lewie Coyle. Will either continue against Ipswich?

Goalkeeper – Marco Silvestri
He had one save to make at the weekend and wasn’t troubled whatsoever by a poor Rotherham attack. He still doesn’t have any real competition so will no doubt continue tomorrow night.

Onto the defence…

Right-back – Lewie Coyle
Given it was his full debut at the weekend, he was brilliant. He did the simple stuff right and looked like he was a regular first-team player. He’s a lot like Charlie Taylor which is very encouraging. For me, let him continue – no doubt Wootton will return though.

Right centre-back – Giuseppe Bellusci
He was excellent at the weekend and if he can cut out the ridiculously stupid mistakes he makes and his tetchy attitude, there’s no reason he can’t stay in the side.

Left centre-back – Liam Cooper
The best, most consistent centre-half we have in our squad. He’s doing a great job deputising as captain and he’s still fairly young. If he carries on I’d give him it on a permanent basis. A Scotland cap is surely on its way.

Left-back – Charlie Taylor
There’s no better full-back in this division for me. He is a future England international in my opinion, give him a 5-year contract now please…

Onto the midfield…

Right-midfield – Sam Byram
The only question regarding Sam Byram, is this going to be his last game in a Leeds shirt. It’s clear he’s not going to sign the contract so we may as well cash in while we can, but as long as he is a Leeds player he should be picked.

Central-midfield – Liam Bridcutt
Another solid performance from the Sunderland loanee, he’s been great for us and I’m glad we’ve got him until the end of the season. He should continue on Tuesday, sitting in front of the back four. He’s a player we could’ve done with in the 10/11 season, we might well have got promoted if we’d have had him in our team.

Central-midfield – Lewis Cook
He was given a rest at the weekend and should now be fit and raring to go against Ipswich. He’s at his best when he’s running from deep so I’d have him sitting alongside Bridcutt in central midfield.

Left-Midfield – Mustapha Carayol
The Middlesbrough loanee put in a decent performance on his debut so I don’t see why he shouldn’t continue. He looked decent and was drifting past players like they weren’t there. More of the same on Tuesday please.

Attacking-Midfielder – Stuart Dallas
It was hard to pick two out of Byram, Carayol and Dallas so why not have all three in an attacking trio. None of them necessarily have to stay in one position, they can all rotate and hopefully give the Ipswich defence plenty of problems.

And finally the striker…

Striker – Mirco Antenucci
With Wood given a 50/50 chance of starting, why not give Antenucci a chance as a lone striker. If we can play football and get him in behind, then I don’t see why he can’t play in the role.

If we play to our full potential, I don’t see why we can’t come away with three points. I think the score on Tuesday will end up in a 2-1 win with the goalscorers being Dallas and Cooper.
