Leeds United’s retained list has been released today, which can be found here The biggest news is Pablo Hernandez contract being extended by a year, along with Charlie Taylor being offered a new deal, purely so we get compensation. However, according to Phil Hay, Leeds are interested in signing Hadi Sacko permanently. This is an interesting move considering the way he tailed off in the second-half of the season. I presume Garry must think Leeds can work with him and improve him as a player, for a cheap price.

Unsurprisingly, Leeds also want to keep Kyle Bartley. I imagine that deal will be a lot easier now that Swansea have stayed in the Premier League. All of this news is a great indication that Garry Monk is staying, along with Andrea Radrizzani’s Twitter usage…

Oh no !!!! I’d sooner have Pedraza or even Botaka, rather than Sacko.
Sacko might be O.K. as an impact sub, but he is so frustrating to play from the start and didn’t pass enough to his team mates in better positions.
If Leeds had got the money out and signed Canos in January, the wide positions wouldn’t need strengthening this summer.
