Well, that was frustrating. But to be fair, Huddersfield were the better team on the day. These are my ratings.

Rob Green – 9 – Green had an excellent game, he didn’t make any errors and he made some unbelievable saves, deserved better from his defence today.

Into the defence…

Luke Ayling – 8 – I thought he had a really good game actually, got forward well and won a lot of balls at the back.

Kyle Bartley – 7 – Usually solid self from Kyle, brings the ball forward really well too.

Pontus Jansson – 6 – I didn’t think it was one of his better games, I can understand why he did it but he should have held his position in the box for the first goal instead of committing for the tackle.

Gaetano Berardi – 6 – His mistake led to the first goal but he made up for it with a goal saving block at the back.

Into the midfield..

Liam Bridcutt – 6 – Didn’t have enough of a hold on the game, gave the ball away too much.

Ronaldo Vieira – 6 – He was excellent in the first half but in the second he seemed to give the ball away every time he got the ball, you can give him a pass a bit considering he’s 18.

Pablo Hernandez – 5 – Really poor from him today, when he doesn’t play well we usually struggle, just wasn’t at it all.

Into the attack..

Souleymane Doukara – 5 – Poor from him, didn’t offer anything going forward and only got a 5 because he made a few good tackles.

Stuart Dallas – 5 – Didn’t offer much of anything either, wasted a few good crossing opportunities.

Chris Wood – 7 – Took his goal really well but his link-up play wasn’t on form today, would have benefit from Pablo being better.

It was good to see all the players standing up for Monk at the end, what a joke Wagner is.

Agree with your ratings, we were poor all over, so a draw would have been fantastic had we held out for the last few minutes, it was an unlucky deflection that caught Jansson out of position for the winner. Second half we were so poor, as you say we kept on giving the ball away, let’s hope we can recover with two seemingly easy home games next.
