Sunderland’s Bridcutt to sign for Leeds?

Sunderland defensive midfielder Liam Bridcutt could today sign for Leeds United after Steve Evans revealed he is close to making his first dealing as United’s head-coach. If he was to sign, he would follow Will Buckley who recently signed from the Premiership strugglers, both players also played at Brighton together so it would see them reunited for a third time.

Bridcutt is another central midfielder, and although I believe we have enough, Bridcutt in my opinion is a very good player at this level. Any deal for the player Sunderland paid £2.5 million for would be an emergency loan deal until January before we could make any sort of permanent deal.

Tom Adeyemi is ineligible for tomorrow’s game against Cardiff City due to Welsh club being his parent side so Bridcutt could well go straight into Evans’ line-up should any deal be completed today.

Do you think we should add Bridcutt to our ranks? Let us know.
